Cleveland Browns Coaching Camp Recap: Day 9 – No nearer to a QB resolution (Chris Pokorny) – “Day 9 of Cleveland Browns training camp took place Friday, August 7. Unfortunately, they closed practice to the fans, due to the threat of rain.”

Browns followers are prepared to incorporate a 3rd QB within the competitors (Chris Pokorny) – “The Cleveland Browns are two weeks into training camp, and installation periods are finished. Head coach Todd Monken has maintained all along that he will likely name a starter between QB Deshaun Watson and QB Shedeur Sanders later in training camp, after both players have been evaluated through rotating days of reps.”

Browns roster: Workforce provides one other free agent DT following Friday apply (Jared Mueller) – “On Friday, just before practice started, the Cleveland Browns announced a number of changes to their roster due to injuries.”

Browns HC Todd Monken talks expertise versus match with OLine resolution, starters in query (Jared Mueller) – “The entire focus from the outside looking in with the Cleveland Browns has been about the quarterback position. At practice on Friday, HC Todd Monken reiterated that Shedeur Sanders and Deshaun Watson have not separated from each other, despite a noted difference in some snaps on Thursday.”

Technically, Garrett landed in the Hall for his amazing single-season sack record in 2025. After OT Joe Thomas was inducted a few years ago, something he talked about in an exclusive interview with DBN’s Barry Shuck, the next Hall of Famer to go in wearing orange and brown was Garrett, and a lot of question marks.”

Browns coaching camp: Checking in on the Denzel Boston hype (Abby Mueller) – “Out of all the players participating in Cleveland Browns training camp this offseason, Denzel Boston has certainly received the most excitement from both local and national media members. Between his physical tools and playmaking abilities, expectations are soaring for him going into the 2026 season. But is the conversation surrounding him warranted?”

Defensive end Maxx Crosby hit quarterback Kirk Cousins twice during the team period. And when Crosby hit Cousins’ arm a second time, the 15-year veteran had had enough. Cousins got into Crosby’s face, grabbing the All-Pro’s jersey, while both exchanged words before it was broken up.”

Titans make Peter Skoronski top-paid guard with four-year, $100 million extension (NFL.com) – “Fresh off his best season of his career, Peter Skoronski is getting paid. The Tennessee Titans signed the offensive lineman to a four-year, $100 million extension Friday, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported, making Skoronski the highest-paid guard in the NFL. Skoronski’s extension includes $88 million in guaranteed money, Rapoport added.”
