With all eyes falling on the Allianz this weekend, Borussia Dortmund put in a stunning performance as they secured a 2-0 victory against historic rivals Bayern Munich.

Watching 22-year-old starlet Karim Adeyemi open the scoring after just 10 minutes, Edin Terzic’s side caused Bayern’s leaky defence a string of issues and were a more than worthy winner here.

With Norway international Julian Ryerson eventually wrapping up all three points in the final few minutes, BVB certainly piled the pressure on a Bayern squad who are at the heart of a public domestic nightmare.

Although England skipper Harry Kane might have seen a late consolation strike ruled out by VAR, it was a hugely frustrating performance for Thomas Tuchel’s men.

With the high-flying Bayer Leverkusen collecting a 2-1 victory against Hoffenheim earlier in the day, Tuchel’s side have officially accepted that they will relinquishing their Bundesliga crown this season.
